Serving Up Success: Pickleball Fundraiser to Support ATOM Scholarships | RallyUp

ATOM awards 2 scholarships each year for students, the ATOM College Scholarship and the District 1 Charles J Redmond Scholarship.

The ATOM College Scholarship

A $2,500 scholarship is awarded annually to an athletic training student who is currently enrolled in a CAATE-accredited professional athletic training program in the state of Massachusetts, who has a strong intent of pursuing athletic training as a means of livelihood. Applicants will be evaluated primarily on their academic achievement and commitment to growth within the athletic training profession. They should show a commitment to advanced learning through opportunities outside of mandatory coursework—conferences, research, volunteer work, etc. The recipient of the ATOM College Scholarship will be selected based on a combination of academic achievement, character, and athletic training abilities and activities.

Charles J Redmond Scholarship

In recognition of Charles J Redmond and his commitment to education and the athletic training field, a $2,500 scholarship is available to a student who is currently enrolled in a CAATE accredited professional athletic training program in the state of Massachusetts that best demonstrates the characteristics of responsibility, leadership and service. Responsibility: the individual demonstrates the ability to self-reflect and take responsibility for their behaviors and actions. Leadership: the individual demonstrates the ability to work effectively individually or in a group. Service: the individual demonstrates willingness to work with others and make people’s lives better.

* District 1 financially supports this scholarship.

Your donation will help to create an endowment that will earmark funds for the continued support of students pursuing a career in athletic training. The goal for our organization is to create membership and conference sponsorships, as well as look to increase the awarded amount for scholarships.
